You can't expect me to NOT do at least one song from UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE in this medley! This is the second to last medley, everyone. I'm really going all out for these last couple medleys, the next one will be my longest solely music video to date. However, that's the future. Right now, probably one of my all-time favorite arrangements that I've done. Boss battle music is always pretty easy to choose, but these are just six of my favorites... only one of which I've actually played before, so that's a record of non-redoes. This was still really hard, though. So many of these songs have really intricate parts. And I didn't want to skimp out and do easy shit, so I spent the time to practice each part and make sure I had it all finalised and recording ready. It's been really nice to challenge myself with how I play too, given that I'm trying more tremolo picking than usual. I've been practicing three note per string tremolo parts, so I'm hoping to have them recordable soon. A few small tone changes, this week. My lead tone had the most drastic change, being a bit more mid scooped than I'm used to. My EQ settings on the lead bus don't make it sound too different, since they're quite extreme, but the goal was to make the tone a little closer to John Petrucci, with my own spin. My rhythm tone changed too. I've been using the 5150 model in recent times, but I want to try using different amp models. This week I'm using the Rectifier model, which I think sounds pretty good.
