Busting 11 Myths In Endacopia

This is a short for Endacopia by ANDYLAND. Endacopia is a nontraditional point and click adventure game for Windows and Macintosh. A web browser horror game that sees you play as Mellow, a child with bug eyes that wakes up in a random room where you then need to solve the puzzles to learn more about your environment and surroundings. This is a game by ANDYLAND In this short, I attempt to bust five myths in Endacopia the game. The first myth is that once you defeat clockey, you can view him afterwards and see him surrounded by flies as it's dead. This is confirmed. The second myth in Endacopia is if you talk to the light hanging in your room four times, it will get angry at you and give you a hidden code. This is true and it says an undecipherable word in slow motion and Mellow responds with an indecipherable word of their own. Confirmed! The third myth in Endacopia is that if you keep the soccer ball up for 50 kicks, the game rewards you with a silver medal on the wall. This is true. A silver medal does appear on the wall after you reach 50 kicks! Confirmed. The fourth myth is that if you crawl through the vent in your room and let the tentacle grab you without fighting back by mashing the A button, you will immediately be transported to the end of the game. This is mythbusted as the tentacle will just pop off your head in a uniqu death cutscene and you will have to try again or rather, retry the current level. The fifth myth is that at the end of the game when Andyland asks you if you liked Endacopia, if you choose 'Not Good' he will try and make it up to you by showing you a funny video. This is true as the game closes and takes you to a Youtube short of a cat smelling yoghurt and then dry heaving. Well played, Andyland! The sixth myth is that if you click and speak to all the hallway lights they will say the syllables of Underground and you will then be transported to a dark secret area of Endacopia. This is true! The seventh myth in Endacopia is when you die in the game you will see Mellow meet his demise under a spotlight on a wooden stage. This is apparently a homage to the Bubsy videogames with similar background. This is true. The eighth myth in Endacopia is that if you type Cheshire straight away to the toilet monster, he'll accuse you of cheating and then take over the player's controls. He'll also make Mellow sing and say that he's a doo doo head. This is also true. The ninth myth is that if you crawl through the vent in your room you will see a Xenomorph skeleton from the Alien movie franchise hiding in the dirt. This is true, you will see the Alien looking down at Mellow from above. The tenth myth is that at the end of the game when Andyland asks you if you liked Endacopia, if you choose 'Eh, it's okay' he will ask for you to leave feedback on his website and apparently will reply. The game does indeed bring you to his website and you can write constructive feedback. I also received an email back within a few hours. Andyland indeed replies and is awesome. The eleventh and last myth of the Endacopia short is that if you keep the soccer ball up for 100 kicks you will get a gold medal! I don't actually know as I made it to 99! But according to other videos, you do indeed get a gold medal. AndyLand is the creator, artist, programmer, sound designer, and writer for Endacopia. Packtion is the composer for Endacopia. Their music is often featured in a plethora of animations and games online. You will be required to guide a lost child through a world that operates on foreign rules. The child’s name is “Mellow” and he doesn’t know much about anything other than the fact that he has a strong gut instinct. With a little help from his guardian angel (You!), Mellow will be able to overcome many obstacles in the way of him finding a place he can call “home”… wherever that may be. ENDACOPIA is a free demo game that you can find on itch.io and other web broswer sourced gaming websites. It also had a kickstarter that reached its financial goal and will see it become a fully fledged game that will come out sometime in 2024.
