Accessing the "External" Shift Mechanism on a 2011 zx6r with a motionless shift pedal. My 2011 ZR-6R (10k miles) got stuck in neutral while riding it normally on the road. I am opening this motorcycle to understand why it got stuck and in the hopes of being able to fix it myself. Bike's history: I recently purchased this motorcycle from Oregon. The last owner dropped the bike on its left side the day of purchase on his way to the train station where I was. The damage is nothing too crazy. I have since put about 1k miles on it. I've also had to change the clutch cable. As of writing this. the bike is now working again! I still do not know what is causing it to get stuck but I know how to fix it next time it happens. I am not a professional, please do your own research. Repost re-edited
