I am #making a ceremonial chair for the Eisteddfod which is a Welsh festival celebrated each year. The design is based on the stick chair but with modern twists. In this video I am demonstrating the #traditional #tools I use to shape the chair seat. The tools I am using are a scorp to rough out the shape or scoop of the chair. Then I am using the tavisher to clean up the marks form the scorp and work more accurately to my pencil lines. I then finish up with the cabinet scraper.
