Spring Monday City Walk in Asahikawa April 2025 | Hokkaido | Japan | 4K HDR

The walk begins in a district called Akebono, then continues through Kamui and finally into the Kagura district. Each of these areas is divided by the Biei and Chubetsu Rivers that flow through the city. In the latter half of the video, I've visit a riverside park in the Kagura district, which offers open spaces and a pleasant view. Although these districts are adjacent to the city center where Asahikawa Station is located, they are mostly residential areas and don't particularly feature any standout tourist attractions (as is the case with many other districts in this city as well). However, even the main roads are not overly congested with traffic, and you don't have to worry about bumping into people. If you step off the main paths a bit, you can find quiet residential neighborhoods or walk along riverbanks with flowing water, making this one of my personal favorite routes.
