Maggie, an older Labrador, came to us with a significant splenic mass. These masses can be either cancerous or non-cancerous, but in Maggie's case, it was quite large, increasing the risk of rupture and internal bleeding. After thorough diagnostics, including chest X-rays, abdominal sonography, and a CT scan, we performed a splenectomy to remove the mass. Maggie has recovered well, showing the importance of timely treatment and care.
