How to Black-Out Your Headlights, Taillights & More

By taking the time to separate the headlight lens from the headlight housing, you can get access to the inside and black out the chrome pieces very easily. This is a much better alternative than TINTING your headlight lenses as the output coming out of your headlights needs to be projected onto the road without being distorted. The same thing can be said for tail lights, however as long as your tail light bulbs are bright enough (mine are replacement LED’s) you will be okay. If you decide to wrap your taillights, begin with one of them and compare it to the opposite side that is not tinted, just like how I did at 7:51. Can you see how easy it is just as easy to see the light on the passenger side as it is on the driver’s side. Be safe out there!! The front of any car gets hit with rocks, bugs, dirt, water, and many other harsh contaminants. I had a clear paint protection film on the outside of my stock headlights that I removed from my Accord, and I wanted to keep that optical clarity which I why I did the same thing on my new headlights.
