Shooting, stabbing, & a fight at Sky Harbor Airport | Morning Brief

Police are investigating a shooting and stabbing at Sky Harbor Airport's Terminal 4 in Phoenix. It happened outside one of the restaurants before security checkpoints around 9:45pm on Christmas. Investigators say three people were shot and a woman is said to be in critical condition, while two men are in stable condition. A man was also found stabbed in the terminal's parking garage. A juvenile female was detained. Also at the airport in an unrelated case, a man was arrested after bringing firearms and getting into a fight with officers. Police say he received a text message about an active shooter at the airport. He later arrived at the scene with firearms and got into an altercation with an officer, who was not hurt. The man was detained and will be booked into jail on several charges.
