Today I'm cleaning my seed starting trays with hot water and dawn dish soap. I'm filling one of the trays with pro mix and added perlite for better drainage for starting sweet onion, red onion, and celery seeds. I will let the seeds sprout and grow in the house for a few weeks, and then I'll move them out to the cold frame in the greenhouse. I'm also adding compost to one of my raised beds in the greenhouse in preparation for the growing season. It feels so good to get out in the greenhouse on a sunny day. It feels like spring in there even though it is January!
