When a Robot Tries to Draw a Heart… Things Get Interesting! | DIY Hybrid Delta Robot

I built a cloud-controlled delta robot to draw coded shapes, hoping to propose to my girlfriend with a perfect heart. Since my drawing skills are poor, I used servo motors, an Arduino Uno, and computer vision to track the robot’s movements. I also integrated IoT control, allowing me to move the robot remotely using sliders on an Arduino Cloud dashboard. The robot's workspace was mapped out, and I used inverse kinematics to convert shape coordinates into motor angles. Despite imperfections due to material limitations, the robot consistently replicated shapes. My main goal was to draw a heart, but when I sent the result to my girlfriend, she misunderstood it, called me vulgar, and blocked me. To improve this, I developed a web interface where users could draw a shape on a phone, which was then replicated by the robot in real life. Despite my efforts, my manual heart drawing was still bad. However, I realized that the robot itself symbolized a heart. Looking ahead, I plan to enhance it by adding a third motor, transforming it into a 3D delta robot capable of industrial applications like pick-and-place tasks and 3D printing.
