Episode 2:    • Top 15 Coolest Homologation Cars Ep.2   In motorsports, homologation is the type of approval process through which a vehicle is required to go for certification to race in a given league or series. As an example for the famous WRC class Group B, each manufacturer had to produce 200 road-going units of their race cars in order to be able to participate. For the FIA GT1 class, this number is much lower, only 25 units had to be produced, hence the value of these cars is so high. These homologation specials are one of the most sought-after models on the market. In this video, you'll get to know better the BMW M1, which had its own racing series called Procar; the CLK GTR which is one of the craziest road-legal Mercedes of all time; the Pajero Evolution, which is a street version of a Dakar winning rally car with all the crazy bodywork; the Opel Manta B400, which could have been a successful rally car in the late 70s/early 80s; and last but not least the wildest variant of the 911, the 911GT1.
