“If relief granted to Imran …” Pak Information Minister threatens SC Judges regarding Imran Khan

In a big relief to PTI chief Imran Khan, Pakistan Supreme Court on May 11 called his arrest ‘illegal’. The Pakistan SC ordered his immediate release and granted bail to the cricketer-turned-politician. The release order of the PTI chief created a stir amongst the Opposition of crisis-hit Pakistan. Taking to Twitter, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz Sharif criticised Chief Justice’s order. Maryam advised CJP Umar Ata Bandial to resign from his post and join the PTI, “just like his mother-in-law”. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb joined the political fray. The Information Minister raised questions and threatened the Supreme Court judges regarding Imran Khan, ARY reported.
