Shri Gulzar Ahmad Ganaie is one of the most outstanding and popular Kashmiri Folk musicians and a household name in Jammu and Kashmir. With a performing career of around 48 years, he has created his own style and his popularity ranges all age groups. He is known for his renditions, melodious and robust voice throw with desired Bhava and aesthetics in his presentation. A ‘Top’ grade artist of All India Radio, he has been honoured with various awards including the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award 2016 and SaMaPa Nund Rishi Samman 2016.
