(23 May 2018) The body of the Pakistani foreign exchange student who was among those killed in the shooting at a Texas high school last week arrived back home to Karachi in the early hours of Wednesday morning ahead of a funeral ceremony. Ten people, including Sabika Sheikh, died after the Santa Fe High gunman used a handgun and a shotgun to shoot his fellow pupils and teachers. Sabika arrived as an exchange student at Sante Fe high last August. Her father Abdul Aziz Sheikh had been expecting her to return home to Pakistan in a few weeks for Eid al-Fitr, the three-day holiday marking the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
