Many videos and tutorials are out there showing various methods and some are risky because you may damage your glasses by breaking the led light. If you've got a dozen pairs, then sure, go ahead and try it but for the rest of us who can't afford to just break $300 glasses, then do this method instead. All you need is double sided tape, some semi transparent dark or black film and tweezers or small fingers. It will lower the brightness of the light on your meta glasses by around 15 to 30% or more depending how many layers you put on. Light still needs to pass through in order for the glasses to be able to take pictures and record video, so you can't completely block it. But if you can dim it down, it'll basically be unnoticeable when you are outside. Indoors, you may still the see light blinking but it's much less than original and most people won't notice it anyways. But this method is best for outdoor use. As shown in my video, you can barely see the light anymore or even at all. You'd have to be a few inches away from the glasses to actually see the light flashing. Even just 1 foot away you can't even see the light blinking. 😱 Lastly, I want to comment on the idea that trying to cover up the light on these glasses is a creepo move. I disagree. It doesn't make you a creep. In fact, walking around with a light flashing on your face is more creepy than covering it up.
