RED KOMODO 6K S35 - Run&Gun Set-up (Core SWX V-mount Plate & NANO Micro Batteries/Outrigger Handle)

Guess what came in the mail today? I couldn't have been more excited to unbox the RED Komodo S35 as I've completely forgot to record the whole unboxing. But here's a video of me rigging the absolutely beast of a compact cinema camera into a simple Run & Gun type of setup. Huge thanks to the team at AV8 Media here in Singapore for coming in clutch with this order of the Komodo along with all the accessories. I put in my order with AV8 Media around December last year and it has finally arrived. I'm looking forward to heading out to shoot around Singapore and test the R3D files I get from this and slowly weave it into the short commercials that I shoot. Here I've rigged the Komodo with an Outrigger Handle, and the Wing Grip, both from RED. For power, I've opted to go along with the Core SWX plate over the Tilta ones because I'd like to see how much battery I would have left during the shoot while keeping the setup compact. And I've chosen to use the Core SWX NANO MICRO as my batteries because they are relatively small too.
