Thanks for watching ❤️ In this video, we explore the origins of the deep Hindu-Muslim conflict in India, tracing it back to 1905, when Lord Curzon's decision to partition Bengal along religious lines sparked intense reactions. Pertition making Eastern Bengal with a Muslim majority, and West Bengal with a Hindu majority. The move was welcomed by the Muslims of East Bengal, who hoped it would bring new opportunities for their community, but was fiercely opposed by the Hindu community under the leadership of the Indian National Congress. In 1911, the British reversed the partition, making the Hindu community happy but leaving the Muslim community feeling betrayed and distrustful of both the British government and Congress. This led to the formation of the Muslim League and marked the beginning of a deeper, more sustained Hindu-Muslim conflict in the region. Watch to learn more about this pivotal moment in history and how it shaped the political landscape of the Indian subcontinent. --- *Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more historical insights!* #follow #history #highlight #hindumuslim #conflict #historyofbengal #historyofconflict #effectsof1905 #pertitionofbengal
