Troubleshooting a Namco 246 with a Jamma B I/O board on my Soul Calibur 3 Arcade cabinet. Attempting to get some feedback on what the issue could possibly be. Upon start up, the system is not reading any Dongle, which is causing the DVD drive to not start up. Dvd drive WILL come on with IDE cable removed while powered up, but will not work otherwise. Have taken entire system apart attempting to fix; cleaning all connection points, including dongles, however nothing seems to be working. No audible tones on startup either. Replaced Power supply, I/O board, all cables including new IDE ribbon, replaced DVD drive with known working unit. I did notice during tear down that one ribbon between the PS2 mother board and another board may have some damage. One pin on the connection was missing some of the copper pin, but unsure if this is causing the issue or not. Otherwise, I have tested all voltages on power supply, I/O board and on the power connection to the front of the Namco 246. All tested what I understand to be good, but don't know what the actual specs should be at each point. Would love some feedback if you have one of these and know a lot about them.
