This technology enables SOLIDWORKS users to design and analyze electromagnetic systems such as electric motors, and antennas. In this session, we will focus on using the software to improve the design of an antenna in a Wifi router device. Through this case study, we will showcase: • Utilizing the pre-defined library from Antenna Magus for antenna selection The Antenna Magus library consists of a multitude of predefined antenna designs that match industry standards and requlations. The searchable library will filter the antenna based on application, size, wavelength, etc. • CST Studio interface for antenna design and analysis offers one interface to run simulations on High-frequency, Low frequency, and coupled simulations with thermal and mechanical analysis. • Interconnectivity between SOLIDWORKS CAD and CST Studio Suite for an integrated design and analysis process. Import options in CST Suite allows for direct import of a SOLIDWORKS model or parametric import of SOLIDWORKS model that can push design changes back into SOLIDWORKS.
