The all-new 2026 Renault Clio has arrived with a complete redesign that transforms Europe's best-selling small hatchback into something genuinely special. This sixth-generation model brings a bold new look, cutting-edge hybrid technology, and premium features that punch way above its class. In this visual review, we take a detailed look at the redesigned exterior with its aggressive styling, the tech-packed interior featuring twin 10-inch screens with Google built-in, and the impressive new E-Tech full hybrid powertrain delivering 160 horsepower. The new Clio measures 4,116mm in length, making it bigger in every dimension compared to its predecessor. The front end showcases striking angular LED headlights positioned below dramatic C-shaped daytime running lights, while the hexagonal grille is covered in diamond patterns that give it a premium appearance. Inside, Renault has elevated the cabin quality significantly with recycled materials, Alcantara trim on higher specifications, and ambient LED lighting with 48 color options. The OpenR Link infotainment system includes Google Maps, Google Assistant, and access to around 100 apps from the Google Play store. Three powertrain options are available including the headline E-Tech full hybrid with 1.8-liter engine delivering exceptional fuel economy of 72.4 mpg and CO2 emissions of just 89 grams per kilometer. This hybrid system can operate on electric power alone for up to 80 percent of urban driving while still achieving 0-62 mph in 8.3 seconds. The standard 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine produces 115 horsepower and comes with a manual gearbox, while an LPG option is also offered for maximum cost efficiency. Safety equipment includes up to 29 advanced driver assistance systems with the innovative My Safety Switch that can deactivate five features simultaneously. The boot offers 391 liters of cargo space in petrol models, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, and buyers receive three years of free mobile data. Pricing starts at 19,900 euros for the Evolution trim, 21,600 euros for Techno, and 24,800 euros for the range-topping Esprit Alpine.
