It’s Friday in Bangkok, and today I’m visiting the Islamic Foundation Centre of Thailand 🕌🇹🇭 I started by exploring the area around the mosque and even ate at a halal restaurant right in front of the mosque, not realising there’s actually a large food court inside the mosque complex 🍜😄 Usually on Fridays you’ll see a lot of people outside mosques, but this time it felt quiet — and then I realised everyone was inside, eating and waiting for the Jumu’ah (Friday) congregation. After Friday prayer, I also show you how easy it is to reach this mosque using public transport.
