Ko au te whenua Ko te whenua ko au (I am the land, and the land is me) I Experienced this Māori saying first hand on my recent travels to New Zealand in November. On this trip I witnessed nature in all its glory - from star filled night skies so striking that they brought tears to my eyes, to caves whose roofs were covered in glow worms, to witnessing active geothermal geysers, to being humbled by walking amidst centuries old Redwood trees towering high over me, to strolling across world class olive oil producing olive groves- this trip had it all and then some more. As though being invited by Tourism New Zealand to visit and experience their beautiful country for an adventure-filled FAM trip wasn’t enough, I got to do this with a fantastic group of fellow travellers - Rohini, Shriya, Shweta, Chaitnya and Abhimanyu.
