The first main difference is that our ProTape, long tape is your more general used tape, whereas our Spencer Logging tape is specifically designed for logging and the forestry industry, our Spencer Logging tape comes in English or metric and has your units of measurement on one side and you can measure diameter on the other side. Our ProTape, long tape comes in English or metric as well, but it comes with a little bit of different things. You have your units of measurement, but it also has stud and truss measurements on there as well. Both of these tapes have an auto rewind feature, but our ProTape has a locking mechanism here as well. There are a variety of end hooks available for our Spencer Logging tape, but our ProTape only comes with the engineer's hook seen here. Both of these tapes come in various lengths and are made out of the same durable, high quality aircraft grade aluminum.
