Today after dropping the car ahead to Braunston on the North Oxford canal and riding the bikes back over Braunston tunnel, me, mum and dad, set off on a cruise back to the car, this time passing through Braunston tunnel, a long canal tunnel built over 200 years ago but thanks to miss calculations while building it, it has a significant kink, its fine when there are no other boats coming from the opposite direction, but not so lucky this time, with not one but two boats coming towards us, thankfully on the other side we begin to head down the locks, once at the bottom we pick up some water and head through the legendary Braunston, and onto the North Oxford canal, finally leaving the Grand Union.
