How to Soft-mod your 4.3u Wii Tutorial Step 2- Back-up Nand and Installing Priiloader

This is the 2nd step to Soft-modding your Wii which covers backing up your Wii's nand and installing priiloader for extra protection against un-wanted disk and online updates. Priiloader also allows you to load your back-up files from your SD card in case of a problem down the road. All instructions are in the video, feel free to pause at any time to catch up. the files needed for this step are below: Priiloader: http://priiloader.googlecode.com/file... Be sure to put the hacks_hash.ini file in the Priiloader folder with the "boot.dol" file AND on the root of the SD card so Priiloader has no trouble finding it when it comes time to apply system menu hacks. THIS WAS DONE ON SYSTEM MENU 4.3U! If you are performing these steps on any version lower than 4.3U, I can't promise you success. You can update to 4.3U before you proceed. It is also a good idea to TURN OFF the Wii Connect 24 feature in the Wii settings menu after this is complete as an extra precaution to prevent any future work-arounds from Nintendo. This feature has nothing to do with online gaming or internet usage. Remember: When you start using instructions from one source, continue using from that source. Mixing instructions from different tutorials can cause huge problems. I can't assume you followed the correct steps when I give you directions, each of my videos are based on the video I created before it and all videos were created using the same Wii console without any changes during the recording.
