A special bus edition of HubNut as I drive the oldest and youngest (ish) versions of the famous Leyland Atlantean bus. These iconic double deckers (mostly) were revolutionary when launched. We drive FHF 451 - Wallasey number 1 & B926 KWM - Wirral Peninsula 1070 and discuss the history and impact of the Atlantean. We also examine Leyland Lowloader prototype XTC 684 - a unique prototype forerunner of the Atlantean!
