Lesson 143 of A Course in Miracles continues the review by inviting us into quiet and generosity of mind. “My mind holds only what I think with God.” This lesson reviews two essential ideas: (125) In quiet I receive God’s Word. (126) All that I give is given to myself. Truth is not learned through effort. It is received in stillness. As the mind grows quiet, it naturally aligns with God. As it gives peace, it receives peace. Lesson 143 teaches that giving and receiving are the same, and that silence is the doorway through which truth enters. Nothing needs to be forced.
