1.Vilwadrinatha Temple is a Hindu temple located in Thiruvilwamala, Thrissur district of Kerala.Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu, and his brother Lord Lakshmana are the main deities of this temple. This is one of the four major temples in Kerala dedicated to Lord Rama, the other three being Thriprayar, Kadavallur and Thiruvangad temples, and also one of the rarest temples in India itself which houses Lord Lakshmana. The temple is situated on the middle of Thiruvilwamala village, on the top of a hill 100 ft above the sea level. Bharathappuzha, the second largest river in Kerala, flows through the northern side around 3 km away from the temple, and as the temple is situated on the top of a hill, the river can be clearly seen from the temple. 2.Thriprayar Shree Ramaswami Temple is Hindu temple situated in Triprayar in Thrissur district of Kerala state in India. The deity is Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, with four arms bearing a conch, a disc, a bow and a garland. The temple is situated on the bank of river Theevra. The temple deity is the presiding deity of Arattupuzha Pooram. It is believed that the idol here was worshipped by Lord Krishna, another avatar of Lord Vishnu in Dwarka. Along with Lord Rama, there are shrines for Lord Shiva as Dakshinamoorthy, Lord Ganesha, Lord Sastha and Lord Krishna, and there is idolless worship for Lord Hanuman and Lord Chathan. 3.Thiruvangad Sree Ramaswami Temple is a temple located in the eastern part of Thalassery. The temple is generally known as the Brass Pagoda from the copper sheeting of its roof. A part of the temple was damaged by Tipu Sultan's troops in the 18th century, but the temple is believed to have been saved from destruction. It was one of the outposts of the Thalassery fort in the 18th century. Conferences between the officials of the East India Company and local leaders in its precincts, at which political treaties and agreements were signed. The annual festival of the temple commences on Vishu day in Medam and lasts for seven days. 4.Mammalassery Sree Rama Swamy Temple is situated in Ramamangalam Grama Panchayath on the banks of Muvattupuzha river in Ernakulam District. This temple is the prime one of the four temples included for Nalambala Darshanam at Piravam. Nalambalam is a group of four temples dedicated to Sree Rama and his three brothers Bharatha, Lakshmanan and Sathrugna. It is considered very auspicious to visit and to worship in these temples during the month of Karkidakam (july/ august). This idol is believed to be given by the 5th pontiff of Kashi Mutt, Srimat Raghvendra Tirtha (samadhi 1726 AD) who is said to have the darshan of Lord Narasimha in one of the pooja rooms at Kashi. 7.Sree Rama Swami Temple is an ancient Hindu temple located in Ramapuram village in Meenachil tehsil and near Pala in Kottayam district in the Indian state of Kerala. The temple has Lord Rama as principal deity, facing the east, who is in a four-armed form, Chathurbahu. It is managed by a trust called Ramapuram Devaswom consisting of three Nambudiri families of Amanakara mana, Kunnoor mana and Karanattu mana. 8.Alathiyur Hanuman Temple is a famous Hindu temple located at Alathiyur near Tirur, Malappuram district, Kerala state, India. Over the years the "custodians" of the temple were Alathiyur Grama Namboodiri, the Raja of the Kingdom of Tanur (Vettathunad), and Samoothiri of Kozhikode. According to local myths, the "Purumthrikkovil idol" of the deity Hanuman was consecrated 3000 years ago by Vasistha, one of the Saptarishis. Even though the main deity of the temple is Hindu god Rama the temple is famous and known as a "Hanuman temple".
