my trip to Japan got cut short…

Hi cuties, I’m sorry this was a bit of a heavy one. When we got the call it was around 1AM Japan time and Ethan was in the middle of the mountains in Cyprus. It was extremely difficult to make the choice to leave the Japan trip we had been looking forward to for months, but I wanted and needed to be there for my family. But I am so grateful for at least getting those 3 days in with Ken and Will and it gives us an excuse to plan another Japan trip in the future! Ethan and I are still hurting but healing. I’m not really sure if the cats understand what happened but we’re making sure to spend as much quality time with them as we can and not taking them for granted.
