After finishing up my food challenges in Oklahoma and Arkansas, I traveled east to Tennessee where I attempted lots of delicious food challenges as part of my 2020 Southeast USA Tour. For event #15, I traveled northwest to Tompkinsville, Kentucky and attempted the super fast and delicious Mike's Southern Kentucky Breakfast Challenge at The Eatin' Table which consisted of 2 Eatin' Table sized buttermilk pancakes, 5 eggs, 5 pieces of bacon, a few pieces of buttered toast, and a large order of hash browns. I was trying to beat the previous 17 minute time record, but I had 1 hour to finish and win my $15 meal free plus a sweet hat and spot on their Wall of Fame. Thank you to Mike and his wife the owners and their staff for all the wonderful food and hospitality, and to everyone who came that day to watch and meet me!! A few hundred people have attempted the challenge, with only around 25 people winning. There are two Eatin' Table sized buttermilk pancakes, each weighing around 1 pound. There are 5 eggs cooked to your liking, 5 pieces of bacon, and some pieces of toast. It is all topped with a large order of hash browns and there is a 1 hour time limit. Winners earn the $15 meal free, a sweet hat, and their photo on the Wall of Fame. This video was filmed on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 (8/26/2020).
