I had no idea there was a female RoboCop film made after the original one back in 1987. This is a clip I put together from the movie. Even though the special effects and the story are not great (and some will see it as a bit cheesy), the robotic suit and the actress (Azusa Nakamura) that plays battle cop is well done. She did a great job portraying the robotic character battle cop. Her movement in the suit was great. At times her movements were human-like and at the same time mechanical like a machine. Her facial expressions while wearing the suit is always unemotional (like a machine), especially in most of the fight scenes. If the directors would have put more time and effort into the effects and storyline, this could have been a great film (or a clone). I know a lot of people see this movie as a direct RoboCop rip-off, but having a female character as RoboCop adds a bit more depth to the movie and its story-line. It shows that a female battle cop can work very well in this storyline and be very believable. The whole point of this film's story is based on revenge and not correcting corruption. If you have seen the whole movie, you know what I mean. I admit the storyline does not make sense at times, especially with the main character (Azusa Nakamura) that goes from being a tennis player to a battle cop , it just doesn't fit. The main villain that uses his telekinesis, (ability to move objects with him mine) instead of using his strength with his muscular body, again that does not make sense. As the movie goes on, you just forget about it and you realize the theme is more about getting revenge and taking out the bad guys. In-all, I really loved the idea of having a female version of Robocop in this film. Her personality and the way she transforms herself into this character once she puts on the suit is great. Even though the special effects at times are bad, and not as violence or gore as the original RoboCop, there is still some excitement in the fight scenes and shoot-outs. You just look at the movie for what it is. Could have been better. I would love to see a reboot of this film made. Information: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0188804/
