What’s the “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” movie about? Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig from Casino Royale and Knives Out) is a business journalist for the magazine Millennium. Convicted of libel, he decides to distance himself from his life and his job. But Henrik Vanger (Christopher Plummer from The Last Station and The Exception), a major figure in Swedish industry, calls on him to investigate an unsolved murder, that of Harriet Vanger (Joely Richardson from The Tudors), the great man's niece who disappeared at the age of 16. During his research, Blomkvist realizes that the Vanger family seems to hide many hatreds and secrets. In the course of his investigation, the journalist meets Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara from Carol and The Social Network). The twenty-four-year-old woman has an exceptional gift, that of discovering information that cannot be found.
