"Come Unto Me" is a super jazzy 6 part tag (or ending) from the song of the same name. This absolute beast of a "tag" was originally sung by the vocal jazz group, Take 6, and @Ringmasters did a tribute to this as well a while back. This is not a traditional barbershop tag, but if you can get 6 friends together, it's a lot of fun to sing. Take 6 has inspired so many vocal groups with their special style of vocal arranging. The tag includes a lot of chords that are typically not used in barbershop - especially because we're restricted to only 4 parts. Still, some of the chord language in this tag has made it's way to the barbershop scene in recent years. Make sure to stick around to later in this video to learn all the parts and sing along with your part missing. 0:00 - 0:36 The Tag 0:36-1:16 Bass Predominant 1:16-1:55 Bari 2 Predominant 1:55-2:37 Bari 1 Predominant 2:37-3:17 Lead Predominant 3:17-4:00 Tenor 2 Predominant 4:00-4:42 Tenor 1 Predominant 4:42-5:23 Bass Missing 5:23-6:03 Bari 2 Missing 6:03-6:44 Bari 1 Missing 6:44-7:24 Lead Missing 7:24-8:06 Tenor 2 Missing 8:06-8:57 Tenor 1 Missing #barbershop #barbershopharmony #take6 #vocaljazz #come unto me #for my burden is light #is this the jazziest tag ever #jazziest barbershop tag ever
