Skeppo and Willion feat. Fjordwolf Fursuit Music Video #3 - Glow

Hello fellow furries and dear watchers, its time for another fursuitvideo from me, my friend Skeppo and some fellow fursuiters. This time we had a little more help, as you will see in the video. Skeppo (Husky in the video) and me (this time not in the video) did a crossover with one of our really good friends Fjordwolf (DJ Fursuiter). He wanted to do a musicvideo with us. In September it finally happened and during the EAST convention in Saxony, we had the chance to shoot it. We summoned all the fursuiters we could find on the location and tried to make a music video for the song "Glow" from the Group Madcon. For me personally this is rather a little more dissapointing what came out here. I don't find it bad, but there had been several problems during the shoot and the editing. The plan was to make a long sequence shot along with a big finale in the dancehall of the location. But it turned out far more difficult than we thought. Filming a two and a half sequence by foot with a rig that is more meant for doing silent shots is really something I wouldn't fight to do again. Well, maybe with a better equipment. After four takes I seemed to be actually more exhausted than the fursuiters! XD And we shot with two different cameras, which was also a big mistake regarding the quality difference on the one hand and the different codecs on the other hand. For the dance sequences I used my Nikon D5100 with a 15-105 mm lense. I shot at 1080p (1920x1080) with 25 fps. The long sequence shot was filmed with a Panasonic camera, though I don't know the exact type anymore. It shot with 1080i (1440x1080) and 25fps. During the editing process it was very hard to combine those two formats, as the Panasonic had a real dubious kind of codec which gave me nightmares. I had to convert the material to a 1080p format with 1920x1080 pixels to be able to get them together in the editing software. I just hat took the Panasonic cam for the advantage of having a decent autofocus. My DSLR also had one but it was far to slow to use. And I already had too much to do with the walking and holding the camera still during the long sequence shot. Well, I know as the cameraman and editor I'm always a little more serious about whats coming out and I see my mystakes more than others do. I'm glad that I finally put this little project to an end. And yes, some of the material is quite noisy. This happens when you film without extra light and a (DSLR) camera that is more focused on working autoimatically. Means you weren't able to controll the ISO and the aperture during the shoot. I really need to get a new camera. But well, enough moaning about the quality, just enjoy the video! Editing software was Adobe Premiere CS5 and Adobe After Effects CS5. !!!VIDEO WAS DONE PURELY OUT OF PLEASURE. THERE IS NO INTENTION OF GETTING ANY MONEY FORT IT. WE DID IT BECAUSE OF THE LOVE FOR FURSUITING AND WANTING TO BE CREATIVE!!!
