We make a brief visit at Museum of Liverpool in the Wondrous Place gallery. This was closed on our last visit and this was primarily to take a look at Billy Fury's guitar from the 1950s. Also was a telegram Billy Fury sent his mother, Jean Wycherley giving her an update on the chart progress of Halfway To Paradise. Also there is a notebook belonging to Ronnie Wycherley with his handwritten lyrics before he became Billy Fury. This section of the museum is very interesting showcasing Liverpool talent from music, TV/film and sport. As you would expect, a lot of Beatles artifacts but plenty of displays of other artists such as Gerry & The Pacemakers, Cilla Black, and other Liverpool artists from before and after The Beatles. It also showcases Liverpool filming locations of movies and TV series, including Peaky Blinders and Fantastic Beasts.
