Fluorovitrectomy for removal of Multifocal IOL fallen on the retina and Akreos IOL sutured at sclera
This is a recently operated eye with posterior capsule rupture and multifocal IOL fallen in the posterior vitreous, with no remaining capsular support. The eye had also a low endothelial cell count (under 900). The surgeon performed 25 G Fluorovitrectomy, followed by removal from the retina and explant of the IOL, then implantation of a new IOL: a monofocal Akreos IOL has been sutured at sclera in four points, using Goretex sutures. The vidos also presents the anterior segment photos and the AS-OCT from the first postop day.
