Time to Shine✨ So Why Five Little men in a flying saucer? 🔢This song is great in learning to recognise the numbers 1 to 5 and there value. 🔠As the song emphasis on words like "fly", "Around", "Left", "Right" etc These are great for developing language skills and speech. 🏃‍♂️Moving and doing the actions together, holding up your fingers, for the amount of flying saucer, is a great way for strengthening little hands and building on those all important fine motor skills. Spinning in circles, pretending to fly around the world is a fun way to practice those balancing and gross motor skills. Whilst having fun! So Why creating with Shapes? 🟥Recognising shapes and how to use/put them together is an important concept in learning to problem solve, putting puzzles together, categorising and seeing patterns in things. 🟢Creating things out of shapes is a fun activity to do together as well as going on a shape walk. Shape walks can be a fun way to see the different shapes within our environment with our children, Such as "a clock", in a shape of a circle. "TV", a Rectangle shape or "the rug being a," "Square", have fun searching. ⭐Children tracing over shapes with the tip of their is also a good way to introduce them to start writing and forming letters.
