When changing the lead acid batteries to the new 304AH Lithium Battery, the range on the shuttle will almost double. We were able to achieve 120 miles on our 9 Passenger Electric Shuttle and 100 miles on our 15 Passenger Electric Shuttle. The Lithium Battery will also give the commercial customer a maintenance free option that does not need to be maintained monthly like you would have to do with Lead Acid. The battery only has a weight 375 lbs which reduces the weight on the shuttle by almost 400 lbs. This will lead to less wear and tear on the vehicle and prolong the life of the shuttle! The Lithium Battery and Charger 304AH 72v Upgrade also comes with a 4-year warranty compared to the 18-month warranty that comes with the lead acid batteries.
