Final Fantasy has always stuck with me for how grounded and almost ritualistic parts of its music feel, especially when it leans into folk textures and restrained melodies. I’ve carried that influence for a long time, and at some point it turned into an idea for a small RPG Maker-style concept built around a boss encounter with Eden. The original plan was to build the project first and write the music around it. That didn’t happen. I ended up getting pulled entirely into the track itself and decided to let the music stand on its own instead of forcing it into a framework that wasn’t ready yet.
