CoreTigo Provides a complete wireless connectivity solution, from the devices through the master all the way to the PLC and Enterprise Applications. At the device level, CoreTigo’s solution enables devices and end points on machines and production lines to become smarter and completely independent. Converting existing IO-Link sensors and actuators to IO-Link Wireless is as simple as directly connecting a device to a TigoBridge. Multiple devices, both IO-Link and digital, can be connected to a single TigoHub for IO-Link Wireless connectivity. TigoAir and TigoBridge embedded modules are used for designing fully integrated IO-Link Wireless sensors and actuators. At the center of CoreTigo’s IO-Link Wireless solution is the TigoMaster which on one end wirelessly connects to the IO-Link Wireless devices, and on the other to PLCs over industrial ethernet protocols such as EtherCAT, Profinet, Ethernet/IP or OPC UA. In addition, the TigoMaster can connect over MQTT and OPC UA to Enterprise Applications, to IIoT Servers and to the Cloud. A Single TigoMaster can connect wirelessly to multiple IO-Link Wireless devices, and several TigoMasters can be daisy-chained to support hundreds of devices in a single work-cell. Using TigoMaster embedded modules manufacturers can design their own IO-Link Wireless masters or embed into PLCs for IO-Link Wireless capabilities. The TigoEngine is a software platform that is beyond an engineering tool. It is used for defining the IO-Link Wireless solution from setting up the devices and masters to configuring the wireless parameters. Other advanced functionalities include parsing IODD and PD. In addition, the TigoEngine contains a secured MQTT publisher, thus making it an interface for advanced IIoT functionalities such as Visualization and Rules.
