This is a proposed video game trailer created by Brady Drollinger, Alex Poeschl, and Diego Christy in the Spring 2024 IMD Team Production class. They needed to come up with a concept for a video game and then create a video trailer that highlights the game's attractions. What is the game about? A top-down action shooter game that has the player fighting his way back home after a black hole sucked him into a different part of the galaxy. The main character, Star Piolet n3il, was conducting a intel mission about the Black Hole named Echo when an unexplained force pushes n3il into the darkness, N3il realizes that he is light years away from earth and the only way to get home is to fix his hyperdrive, but unfortunately the force of the black hole has damaged his hyperdrive and now he needs to gather parts from different planets while fighting an unknown fleet of enemy ships that looks to protect their supplies What is the trailer about? In the trailer we start off with our main character N3il as he is sent out from the mothership into the direction of Echo a black hole that was discovered around the milky way galaxy, while analyzing Echo at a safe distance, a strong force throws him into the Black Hole and we cut to black, a few seconds later N3il awakens to him being in the ship and checking his gps, showing he is light years from home, he also notes he can’t use his hyperdrive because it was damaged from the force that sucked his ship into the black hole. His “general” informs him that there is a weak signal, and all he can provide is directions to where he can find parts to rebuild his hyperdrive. But as soon as N3il goes into orbit around the closest planet, he gets intercepted and attacked by an unknown galactic enterprise. It’s up to N3il to fight back home.
