A little late but I needed to take my time on this. On December 25th, 2024, Britt Allcroft, the creator of Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends, passed away. Her passing was announced on January 2, 2025, to the shock and sadness of many. The impact of Thomas has done wonders for many people around the world and it was Britt who introduced it to us. Some of us wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her. Which is why this passing has been tragic. I know it was announced almost a week ago but I needed to take my time to mourn and make this. Britt from the bottom of my heart, thank you. For making our childhoods special, inspiring us to create and tell our story, the friends we made along the way, and just making something that can put a smile on our faces.
