As with all our Cumbrian Lake District films, we’ll keep you paddling hard at all the detail in the film commentary, right to the end. Along with visual text & ‘attractors’. This film shows you key features above the water line . . . including path access to site, audio commentary describing this dive and what to expect at Ullswaters Stybarrow Crag, or locally known by divers as "Falling Rocks". There is no shortage of diving or wild swimming at this site, and its also near ideal for training divers, though viz is often poor. We say – if you can dive Ullswater – you can dive anywhere! Great area to launch a kayak, Canoe or Paddle Board, but also for Divers looking to explore the deep or not so deep, with rock faces all the way down to Australia if you know where to look. Good for Tomb Stoneing too! We’ll show you, but those dives are down to your own evaluation of your ability, competence and risk assessment of this “altitude” dive! That’s another part of planning this dive if you want to go deep here. Why "Falling Rocks"? Important information in the film commentary to be found. Many other water users and tourists also stop here thanks to its commanding views of the lakes and the proximity of the various islands they like to explore around, including the opposite shoreline which is not so far away even for divers!
