The song was inspired by the life and tragedy of Jawara Tosh (Peter Tosh's son) aka Tosh1, who was arrested and brutalized in the state of New Jersey for marijuana possession. Jawara died under police custody under unfair & archaic marijuana laws. The song features Donald Kinsey, notably the original Legalize It guitar player for Peter Tosh and also Bob Marley's guitar player. Members of The Wailers, including Aston Barrett Jr, Donald Kinsey, as we11 as Rica Newell (Stephen Marley, Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers) perform on the song with the mix done by Josh Gannet (Redman/Wutang Clan).
