I continue my parkrun tourism and head to Perry Hall. Last time at Warwick I strained my calf muscle. Will it be ok today? Welcome to my latest video, "Perry Hall parkrun" I strained my calf at Warwick last week and have been easing it back in so thought I'd try another bit of parkrun tourism, this time at Perry Hall in Perry Barr, Birmingham. The run director was great and did a good briefing. The start was a little chaotic but soon spaced out. The course was a mixture of surfaces and quite muddy on the day I went. Pretty flat so a good test for my calf injury, which held up well :-) We did 3 laps, each one being different so directions were needed. The site of Perry Hall was interesting. There's a lovely moat though no sign of the Hall. This is week 2 of the training block for my 1st Ultra, the Goring Gap 52K in May 2025.
