They seem easy... but to make a pinch pot that has even wall and floor thickness is deceptively tough. Here we do just that, we make a half sphere pinch pot whose wall and floor are 1/8" thin! My three steps to success are: even wall and floor thickness, continual compression, and moisture management. To achieve even wall thickness, one has to choose to shift one's awareness to the tips of their fingers, and to be aware of the distance between the thumb and middle finger.
