Türkiye’s MKE Expands from Counter-Drone Technology to Defense Manufacturing

At Enforce Tac 2026 in Nuremberg, Army Recognition interviewed Ödül Öden, Regional Manager for Europe and the Americas at MKE (Makine ve Kimya Endüstrisi). MKE presented a wide range of defense technologies, including sniper rifles, machine guns, ammunition from 5.56 mm to 155 mm, counter-drone solutions, and the PIRANA kamikaze unmanned surface vessel. The company also highlighted its TOLGA short-range air defense system, designed to detect and neutralize mini and micro UAV threats. MKE exports to more than 105 countries and offers both defense systems and ammunition production technologies for international partners.
