Externally in its wonderful 'Polished Ebony' (PE for short) cabinet with mirror-like reflection, traditional legs, brass finishes and lovely cabinet depth it looks amazing. The middle 'Practise Pedal' is very useful for playing quietly too. This pedal locks a felt between the hammers and the strings to make the sound a lot quieter if you wish to practise without disturbing people nearby, or play late at night for example. The key action is very responsive and the tonal changes on touch are just beautiful. This piano is ideal for professional musicians or beginners of any age. I think the Yamaha B2 piano is excellent value for money.
