Join me as I explore a 1 bedroom Suite room at the Movenpick Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines. Whilst this particular hotel doesn't currently participate in the Accor ALL hotel loyalty scheme (which translates to no points accrual/complimentary beverage and snack), upon check-in as an Accord Gold Member, I was upgraded from an ocean view room on a lower floor to this Corner Suite Room on the 19th Floor. Movenpick is a renowned chocolatier and ice cream maker who own luxury hotels around the world, everyday here between 3pm - 4pm there is complimentary luxury chocolates during what they call 'chocolate hour' where you can help yourself to a plate of chocolates, mallows, dipping chocolates, other sweet treats with no additional cost added. The hotel serves great food, there is a well equipped gym, pool, private beach, atrium bar/sails restaurant, parking, very secure and they also run kids activities for three different age groups.
