Trains at Swinton, South Yorkshire - 22/10/2025

A decent afternoon at Swinton, a small station located between Doncaster and Sheffield on 22nd October 2025. My main reason for coming here was to catch Class 55 Deltic No. 55022 'Royal Scots Grey' on a light engine move from Leeds Balm Road to Crewe. As well as the Deltic, there was also ROG 37800 'Cassiopeia' on a light move from Gascoigne to Derby. There was also a few container trains and some of the regular passenger services. I didn't film as much as I wanted to as the battery on my phone was rapidly depleting, but i'm happy I was able to film the main things I went for. Trains featured: TransPennine Express Class 185z CrossCountry Class 220 Voyagers Northern Classes 150, 158 & 170 Volker Rail Tamper GBRF Class 66 Freightliner Class 66s DB Class 66 ROG 37800 LSL Deltic 55022 RSG ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for watching.
